22mm Momentary Changeover Push Button (Released NC → Press & Hold NO) | DPST 2NO2NC | IP67 | Amber LED

12V LED • 5A contacts • pre-wired harness (200mm) • stainless steel panel mount

Search terms (compatibility): momentary changeover push button • ON-(ON) / (ON)-ON • DPST 2NO2NC • manual override switch • bilge pump override button • waterproof 22mm pushbutton

What this switch does

This 22mm momentary changeover push button behaves like a mechanical changeover relay—but without a relay coil. At rest, the NC circuits are closed (Function 1 ON). When you press & hold, the switch transfers to the NO circuits (Function 2 ON) and returns to NC as soon as you release.

  • Released (default): NC1 + NC2 connected → your “automatic / normal” circuit stays active
  • Press & hold (momentary): NO1 + NO2 connected → your “manual override / secondary” circuit becomes active

Many sellers label this behavior as ON-(ON) or (ON)-ON. What matters in practice is simple: Released = NC active, Press & hold = NO active.

Why choose this push button instead of using a relay?

Mechanical changeover logic (no coil)
Same “transfer” idea as a changeover relay, but without coil wiring, standby current or buzzing.
Fewer parts, fewer failure points
No relay socket, no coil, no extra connections—often more reliable in vibration + humidity.
Instant, manual control
Press = transfer, release = back to default. Ideal for manual override or temporary bypass.
Still relay-friendly when needed
Use it directly for small loads (≤5A) or to control a relay/contactor coil for higher currents.

Rule of thumb: if your load is within the switch rating (5A) you can switch it directly. For pumps/winches/high-current circuits, use this button to switch a relay/contactor control line.

Amber LED indicator (12V)

The amber LED ring can be wired to show either:

  • Circuit armed / powered: LED on when the system is enabled (useful for bilge pump supply confirmation)
  • Manual override active: LED on only while you press & hold (clear “override engaged” feedback)

How to use it: practical wiring logic

1) Manual override for an automatic bilge pump (2-wire pump)

With a dual-circuit changeover, you can keep the pump in automatic mode by default (NC), and add a momentary manual override (NO) without adding complex control modules.

  • Automatic (NC path): keep your “auto” feed active through NC1
  • Manual override (NO path): feed the pump through NO1 only while pressing
  • COM2 bridge idea: use COM2 to create a bridge so the +12V is available to the manual override path when needed

Routing the supply through the push button/panel (instead of a direct battery feed) gives you a helm control point: the LED confirms the circuit is powered/armed, and you keep a clean disconnect + protection point (fuse/breaker) on the same panel.

2) Temporary disable / service safety

Put your normal circuit on NC. When you press & hold, NC opens → the function is temporarily disabled. This is useful for servicing (testing, cleaning a strainer, preventing a device from running unexpectedly).

3) Bypass / reset (momentary action)

Use the NO side to provide a clean momentary signal to a device that needs a bypass or a manual reset: electronics reset input, alarm acknowledge, control input on a module, etc.

Key features
