  • 12V DC
  • 4 or 6 Switches
  • Thermal Circuit Breakers
  • Pre-Wired
  • Mounting Gasket
  • Marine Grade
  • 60W USB Option

A reliable 12V marine switch panel should be simple, robust and easy to service. BAYWATT toggle switch panels are designed around that principle, using proven polycarbonate marine toggle switches, individual thermal circuit breakers and a fully pre-wired panel architecture.

This is a classic marine electrical panel design intended for sailboats, motorboats and yachts where reliability matters more than unnecessary electronics. The toggle switches provide a positive mechanical action, excellent durability and no distracting glare at the helm.

Particularly well suited to boats from approximately 7 to 16 metres / 23 to 52 ft, the compact wave-shaped panel integrates naturally into both traditional and modern dashboards. One panel can be installed on its own, or two panels can be mounted together vertically or horizontally while maintaining a coherent layout.

A Practical Plug-and-Play Marine Electrical Panel

Designed for straightforward boat refits and new installations. The switches, thermal circuit breakers and internal wiring are already assembled, reducing installation time and the number of separate components required behind the dashboard.

  • Heavy-duty polycarbonate toggle switches
  • Individual thermal circuit breakers already mounted and wired
  • Red ON indication for clear night-time status
  • No bright illuminated ring or unnecessary glare at the helm
  • Water-resistant mounting gasket supplied with the panel
  • Rubber protection boots on the thermal circuit breakers
  • Pre-wired construction for easier installation
  • 40 function labels supplied for circuit identification

Reliable Polycarbonate Toggle Switches

Positive Mechanical Switching The polycarbonate toggle switches provide a clear mechanical action that is easy to operate by feel, even when sailing, wearing gloves or working in rough conditions.
Low-Glare Night Operation The switches illuminate red when ON, providing immediate circuit status without flooding the helm with unnecessary light. Red indication is particularly suitable for maintaining better night vision onboard.
Built for Marine Use The switches and thick ABS panel are selected for repetitive use in humid marine environments, making this design particularly suitable for sailboat, motorboat and yacht electrical panels.

Integrated Thermal Circuit Breakers — No Separate Fuse Block Required

Each switch circuit is already paired with an individual DC thermal circuit breaker. The breakers are mounted directly on the panel and pre-wired to their corresponding switches.

This eliminates the need for a separate branch fuse block for these individual circuits and simplifies both wiring and troubleshooting. Each panel includes a combination of 5A, 10A and 15A breaker ratings according to the panel configuration.

Electrical installation note: the panel provides branch-circuit protection through its individual thermal breakers. The main supply cable feeding the panel must still be correctly sized and protected according to the total connected load and the vessel's electrical installation.

Designed for Wet Cockpits and Real Boat Use

A mounting gasket is supplied to seal the panel against the dashboard, while the individual thermal circuit breakers are protected by rubber boots. Together, these features make the panel well suited to cockpits, exterior helm stations and other locations regularly exposed to spray, rain and wash-down water.

The panel itself is designed to tolerate normal boat washing and spray. Direct high-pressure washing is nevertheless not recommended, particularly over the adhesive function labels, which may be damaged or lifted by a concentrated pressure-washer jet.

Wave-Shaped Design for Flexible Dashboard Layouts

The curved wave profile was designed so the panel remains visually balanced whether installed vertically or horizontally. This also makes it easy to expand a dashboard later.

Single Panel A compact solution for a simple electrical system with four or six controlled circuits.
Two Panels Side by Side Combine two panels horizontally for a larger helm or navigation station while keeping a uniform appearance.
Vertical Installation The same wave-shaped geometry also works well when panels are installed vertically on narrow cockpit consoles or bulkheads.

60W Waterproof USB Charging — No Compromise on the USB Version

The SPB42 version adds onboard charging without replacing the marine-grade philosophy of the panel. Instead of using a basic low-power USB socket, it is equipped with a 60W high-power USB charger designed for demanding onboard use.

The higher charging capacity makes it suitable for modern phones, tablets and compatible USB-C equipment, while the protected construction is better suited to marine installations than basic automotive USB modules.

SPB42: combines four protected switch circuits, a 12V power socket and high-power USB charging up to 60W in one compact panel.

Frequently Asked Question

What is included in this 12V marine switch panel?

Each BAYWATT marine switch panel combines heavy-duty polycarbonate toggle switches, individual thermal circuit breakers, pre-wired connections, a mounting gasket and around 40 function labels.

The idea is to reduce the number of separate parts needed behind the dashboard and make a boat refit faster, cleaner and easier to service.

Why does the panel use red ON indicators instead of bright backlighting?

The red LED only shows when a circuit is active. This gives clear status information without creating unnecessary glare around the helm.

This is especially useful for night navigation, when too much dashboard light can make it harder to see outside the boat. The result is a simple, low-glare marine switch panel that remains easy to read in the dark.

Do I need a separate fuse block with this boat switch panel?

Normally, no separate branch fuse block is required for the circuits controlled by the panel because each switch already has its own thermal circuit breaker.

This saves one component and simplifies the wiring. The main power cable feeding the complete panel must still be correctly sized and protected upstream according to the total possible load.

Which panel should I choose: 4 switches, 6 switches or the USB version?

Choose the 4-switch panel for a small group of essential circuits, or the 6-switch panel when you need more functions such as lighting, pumps, navigation lights or ventilation.

The SPB42 adds four protected circuits, a 12V power socket and a 60W USB charger, making it particularly useful around the helm where phones, tablets and other USB-C equipment are often charged.

How waterproof is the marine toggle switch panel?

The panel is rated IP65 and is supplied with a mounting gasket. The thermal circuit breakers also have rubber protective covers. This makes the panel suitable for cockpits and boat dashboards exposed to rain, spray and normal washing.

Direct pressure washing is not recommended. A concentrated high-pressure jet can damage seals over time and may lift the adhesive function labels

Can I install two marine switch panels together?

Yes. The curved wave-style design works well in both horizontal and vertical installations. Two panels can therefore be mounted side by side or one above the other while keeping a consistent dashboard appearance.

This makes the range particularly suitable for sailboat, motorboat and yacht refits, including boats of roughly 7 to 16 metres / 23 to 52 ft, where the electrical panel may need to grow as more equipment is added.
